Dwarfs!? is a two-dimensional casual real-time strategy game, with multiple elements taken from other genres such as roguelike, action, city-building and so on. The game, developed and published by a small indie studio in-house, has a huge number of modes for a fun and, at the same time, challenging gameplay, which does not get boring due to the variety of available content and randomness due to the procedural generation of locations and random events.

The gamer gets the role of the head of the underground base of dwarves - a short race of miners who spend half their lives in caves in search of valuable deposits. On the shoulders of the player lies the task of building a giant colony, which will constantly be in the growth stage due to the increase in the volume of work and the discovery of minerals. There are the following modes: "Sandbox", "Arcade", "Dark" (there is light only where the dwarves are), "Onslaught" and "Base Defense".

An important aspect of camp life is to ensure the safety of the workers, which can be encroached upon by vicious creatures living without sunlight. Defending your shelter takes place in the "Tower Defense" format. In order to secure the main building in the form of a town hall, the gamer needs to build a defense system, which consists of various types of towers, equipped with cannons, nets and traps for enemies.
