Dreadhalls is a survival horror adventure with roguelike elements and an immersive sim. This project is designed only for playing in a virtual reality headset, allowing you to get a new experience in the field of video games thanks to the feeling of being in a fictional world. The single-player story campaign, which is the only mode in Dreadhall, starts with the awakening of the protagonist, an unnamed young man. The protagonist does not understand how he ended up in such a terrible and gloomy place, but he has to overcome his fright and go on the road in order to find a way to get out of here and no longer remember these terrible moments. In order to illuminate the area, it is necessary to keep a flashlight ready and constantly replenish oil supplies.

The virtual protégé does not use firearms or cold weapons, the only way to resist enemies is to run away from them and try not to be seen once again, because any encounter with monsters is deadly due to the fact that they are much more powerful than the hero. Locations used for the single-player campaign are constructed using artificial intelligence, which is responsible for random procedural generation, and creates non-repetitive territories. This increases the degree of scary of the gamer, because you can never know what awaits around the corner. The oppressive atmosphere is aided by a well-chosen soundtrack.
