Plot DON'T GIVE UP: A Cynical Tale tells the story of a mentally ill developer trying to succeed in his own life, but numerous inner demons stand in his way. The player takes control of this character and delves into his subconscious to fight darkness and an evil creature. The adversaries intend to recognize the mind and then seize control of it. The user will fend off bullies associated with pizza delivery and will face social anxiety due to male pattern baldness. The central character refused responsibility and suffered numerous mental illnesses. The gameplay is presented as a standard role-playing adventure with no procedurally generated encounters with enemies or events. Still, it will require skill from the gamer, as many fights become hardcore. The user will be able to go through 2 storylines related to the two original dimensions. The combat is made in a real-time style. There are many establishments in the city, such as: burger eateries, restaurant chains, arcade mini-games or strip clubs. There are 100+ secondary characters installed throughout the area, and each of them can be interacted with. Many elements of the walkthrough are made in the style of the 90s, and the story includes elements of cynical comedy, emotional destruction and self-discovery.
