Demonic Supremacy combines elements of a 3D shooter and a retro adventure. The gamer takes on the role of Zexus, the chosen one, who has to go through a mysterious tower that appears once every 3481. The tower is filled with demonic creatures, which Xexus must defeat using his demon powers and various weapons. Shutan features fast-paced and intense gameplay that requires skills and reflexes from the player.

The game has a story mode in which Zexus has to get to the top of the tower and fight the Lord of Hell himself. There are several levels in the story mode, varying in design, enemies, and difficulty. Each level has its own boss, defeating which requires a special strategy. There is also a heavy metal soundtrack that matches the mood and atmosphere.

Demonic Supremacy pays homage to classic 90s 3D shooters like Doom, Quake, and Duke Nukem. The nostalgic graphic style is reminiscent of the pixelated and low-poly graphics of those games.
