Defiance

It's been 15 years since the devastating Pale Wars between Earth and the alien alliance the Votanis Collective in Defiance. The Votanians came to Earth after the destruction of their solar system in search of a new home, but they did not know that the planet was already inhabited. Tensions between the races escalated into war, and the Votanians used their terraforming technology. The surface of the Earth underwent dramatic changes, which led to strong changes in topography, the extinction of plant and animal species. Subsequently, humans and Votanians were forced to coexist. The protagonist is accepted into the ranks of the "Ark Hunters" in order to search for alien technology.
