Daikatana

Daikatana - A first-person shooter that begins with the protagonist named Hiro Miyamoto, a famous swordsman, being visited by the tramp Toshiro Ebihara. He tells about the existence of the legendary Daikatana sword, which was forged by his ancestor Usagi Miyamoto. With the help of the blade, you can move through space. Osaka Mishima wanted to use it to destroy the Ebihara clan. However, the blacksmith found out about these plans and gave the sword to Inshiro Ebihara, Toshiro's ancestor, for safekeeping. However, after a huge amount of time, Usagi's descendant, Kage Mishima, managed to master the blade and took Mikiko, Toshiro's daughter, hostage. Now the protagonist needs to rescue the girl and take away the heirloom.

John Romero's Daikatana campaign consists of 4 episodes divided into 24 levels. In total, the game features 62 unique locations. The action takes place in Japan in 2455, Ancient Greece, Norway and San Francisco in the year 2030. Missions range from killing key targets to tracking down allies or solving complex puzzles. At least one of the allies must not be allowed to die, otherwise the mission will instantly fail. There are a total of 3 protagonists in the game: Hiro Miyamoto, Johnson Superfly, and Mikiko Ebihara. You will have to fight with 25 types of weapons, including both cold weapons and firearms.
