Corpoct is a simplistic roguelike and an indirect-control strategy game. The title also has CCG elements. The game has a sci-fi setting. The indie project is dedicated to ship battles in space. All locations here are randomly created. Starships are also randomly generated.

The user assembles a fleet. It can consist of a variety of vehicles - from fast fighters to clumsy but armored battleships. In Corpoct, the user cannot give orders to units, as well as customize them. During the battle, they themselves move around the improvised arena and independently decide which target to hit with which weapon. Before the fight, the gamer is only allowed to place his combat units on the field.

And during the battle itself, he is allowed to indirectly influence the outcome of the fight with the help of cards. They are an analogue of spells and can, for example, launch a missile attack on a specific enemy unit or restore the durability of one of the allied aircraft. The player periodically receives 3 cards from the deck in his hand and plays them for the local mana semblance. It is possible to pause the battle to think about further actions. According to the plot, the gamer works for a mego corporation and organizes a space expedition. He can recruit heroes and villains, accumulate resources, build a deck, upgrade his army, and much more. He also has to travel around the galaxy and choose which sector to go to next.
