Chrono Ark

Chrono Ark is a classic Japanese-style role-playing adventure that supports high-resolution textures but uses similar camera views and turn-based dialogue and combat visualization. The story campaign is available for passage only in single-player mode, multiplayer is not provided in this project.

The gameplay is based on assembling a team, which includes 4 characters, for further leveling and creating an invincible squad ready to fight on equal terms with all opponents presented in the locations of the bizarre Twisted World. Thanks to elements taken from the roguelike genre, after the death of the group, you have to start again, and the world around you will change due to the actions of the previous team. This means that each playthrough follows a unique scenario. The story tells of a conquered world that has been enslaved by creatures from a mist that shrouds all land areas. Now all hope for salvation lies in a group of brave heroes who fell under the control of the gamer. On the way, you will meet huge crowds of enemies, bosses, random events and mountains of loot that help to level up the main characters.

The combat system is made in the form of alternate use of special cards, which are standard skills, spells, passive perks and upgrades. Throughout the playthrough, the player gains new skills by adding them to their deck or replacing old ones. It is also possible to merge cards to get a stronger version of the same effect.
