CHKN is a unique open-world constructor, where the player has the power not only to terraform nearby locations, but also to create a variety of life forms. The gameplay is designed to give the player maximum freedom of action in order to realize even the most unimaginable fantasy on a convenient and intuitive platform.

Like other sandboxes, the gameplay involves building shelters, mining resources of varying difficulty, and an extensive crafting system. Two classic modes are available: survival, in which you need to provide the game character with everything necessary for life, and creative, in which there are no restrictions.

The main feature is the creation of your own pets. In addition to the animal editor, it is possible to cross different species to produce improved (and very funny) offspring with unique abilities. The catalyst in crossbreeding can be rare artifacts hidden deep underground or located in ruins and temples (t.E. available during a thorough exploration of locations).

The visual component is by no means distinguished by the desire for realism or detail. The graphics in the game are extremely simple, although quite colorful and create the atmosphere of a cheerful and naïve cartoon.
