Chefy-Chef allows players to embark on a long and perilous journey as they take control of Chefy's Cook. The protagonist finds himself in a magical universe, where he needs to search for the missing ingredients to cook a signature dish. The game is made in the genre of a two-dimensional platformer with a side view, where users need to overcome landscape obstacles, dodge traps and solve spatial puzzles.

The protagonist in Chefy-Chef gets the ability to jump, climb walls, and perform other acrobatic stunts to climb higher ground or overcome pits with thorns. The main goal for users is to move through the levels, where it is important to find and select the ingredients necessary for cooking. Players are forced to make a pineapple-radish salad, which the Chef loves.

In the story, the hero enters a unique world through the doors of the refrigerator. Gamers will have to go through 60 diverse levels, picking up culinary devices, equipment and other auxiliary items that will allow you to climb walls, teleport and make high jumps. The locations are made in the style of a classic mini-metroidvania, where you can find and pick up hidden burgers, which unlock new outfits for subsequent character customization.
