Competitions in Boreal Blade take place in special multiplayer arenas where players clash in bloody sword fights. Users have the opportunity to hone their mastery of one-handed or two-handed weapons, allowing them to feel the difference in approach to each type. Battles create challenging conditions that test the player's skill and reflexes. An important component is a well-thought-out and responsive character control system and a choice between different combat styles, allowing you to find your own favorite approach, tactically applying the acquired skills and abilities in battle.

The main task in Boreal Blade is battles between gamers on one of the provided maps, made in different environments and biomes, immersing you in the atmosphere of medieval battles. Each protagonist is able to combine different combinations of attacks or blocks, which the user individually selects to suit his own style in combat skirmishes. As for weapons, pole piercing pikes will also be available, the ability to fight with a shield and a sword or go into battle with bare fists, using special techniques designed for agility and speed of movement.

As you progress through the tournament maps and climb the leaderboards, you will have to try out four multiplayer modes, such as: "Team Deathmatch" between the two sides of the conflict, or the variant where it is every man for himself, "Northern Battle" or "Claims", where you have to defend your own banner that can be stolen by enemy fighters.
