In Bloom The cultists decided to declare the end of the world and brought a certain black flower from the demon realm to our world. The player, as a warrior of a sacred order, will have to break through hordes of demons and the damned in order to destroy the black flower before it blooms. Although the game is in Early Access, it already offers everything you expect from a retro shooter. The plot here is written enough to understand the motivation of the main character and understand the meaning of the bloodshed.

The graphics are three-dimensional and a bit rough at first glance, but after a few minutes you stop paying attention to them. What the creators really did well was the level design. They're reminiscent of old shooters from 20 years ago, but they look much better. The recognizable design solutions and the general style of the locations are clearly inspired by classic shooters.

Gameplay-wise, the game also takes an example from such shooters. These are cheerful and dynamic shootouts with a variety of enemies - from cultists to ground and flying demons of all stripes. The developers have provided for progression very well, so each new level will introduce one or two new opponents. Also, each level traditionally ends with a boss fight. These are unique enemies that require a special approach. And it won't just be a 1v1 fight, as each boss also has the obligatory retinue of smaller, but no less vicious minions.

But the main salt of the game was the weapon. The range is extremely wide - fists, greatsword, pistols, submachine guns, pump-action shotgun, double-barreled shotgun, rifle, machine gun and more futuristic samples, including several secret weapons. Some weapons can be held in the Macedonian way. And there is a use for every weapon, there are no completely useless samples. And every weapon feels great, especially close-range shotguns.

Additional items do not shine with variety, but everything you need is available - roses to restore health, weapons, ammunition, armor and keys to various doors. There is also a special bonus - Adrenaline, which is very carefully hidden in most levels and increases the player's health when used.
