Blightbound is a three-dimensional dungeon crawler with an emphasis on cooperative play both over the network or the Internet, and at the same computer by connecting additional input devices. Adventures created by a group of indie developers are designed for three players at the same time. Each gamer is free to decide which class to choose. The choice is quite wide, the list includes standard classes: warriors, mages, rogues, and so on. Each available location is created by designers manually, without the use of artificial intelligence and random generation. The world is divided into 3 zones: Graveyard, Podfort and Bloodridge. They are filled with deep dungeons in which crowds of aggressive opponents operate in the service of the forces of evil.

Moving towards the cherished goal, users rescue and resurrect fighters who are in enemy possessions. After that, the rescued are sent to a shelter located high in the mountains. There, they provide crafting services, upgrade the skills of controlled characters, and issue side quests and special contracts to kill someone.
