BLACK BIRD

BLACK BIRD is a Japanese scrolling shooter with a non-linear plot. A dark story with elements of black humor has 8 endings. The plot begins with the death of the main character. A little girl dies, but is suddenly reborn as the Black Bird. Taking on a new form, she seeks to wreak havoc and destruction across the kingdom.

In this game, you need to destroy crowds of opponents and try not to expose yourself to their bullets. Shootouts and dogfights take place to comic songs with vocals, parodying opera music. The number of points depends on the skill of the user. The score affects what kind of intro the player will see at the end. After completing BLACK BIRD, an additional mode opens with new enemies and characters.

The gameplay is as follows. The gamer appears in the level and starts shooting buildings and funny-looking locals. They drop crystals, which help increase the number of points when picked up from the ground. You can move left or right through the locations. The cards themselves are looped. On them, you can find upgrades that upgrade weapons, and first aid kits with bombs. When the player destroys all the marked buildings, sirens will sound and a battle with one of the boss monsters will begin.
