BioShock 2 - a first-person shooter with RPG elements in the fantastic underwater city of Rapture, where the player will take on the role of the prototype of the Big Daddy, called the Delta Object. But they are attacked by a group of brutalized people and kill Delta. After 10 years, the hero wakes up and now he has to find out what happened for such a long period of time.

The gameplay is based on dynamic shootouts using plasmids (the local analogue of magic). Delta can use both a firearm and a plasmid. Daddy's main weapon is the drill, which can be used as effectively as possible in close combat. It can be pumped with the help of gentonics.

On his way, the hero will meet both many new characters and familiar personalities from the first game: Bridget Tenenbaum, August Sinclair, Carlson Fiddle, Grace Holloway and many others. Since the protagonist is dressed in a deep-sea suit, several levels will be available, where you will need to take several walks on the ocean floor. On the way, there will be mollusks that produce ADAM. Of the innovations, in addition to the radical change of the protagonist, the player will see a new version of the splicer's opponent and the Big Sister - an adult girl who is no longer suitable for collecting precious resources.

As in the original game, you will have to decide the fate of the Little Sisters. The process of hacking turrets, security panels, safes and vending machines has been greatly simplified. From now on, it's a simple mini-game where you need to combine moving arrows. BioShock 2 is a great sequel to its predecessor, showing some events from a new angle and different eyes, while retaining all the recognizable features of the original, right up to the revival in nearby Vita chambers.
